I was fortunate enough to be let into the loop this year on a springtime extravaganza found off the beaten path in Allendale, SC. On the first Saturday in May the town center swells for the annually anticipated CooterFest. A turtle racing, beer drinking, BarBQue eating showdown. And it is not for the faint of heart. These mean streets are balls hot and covered with some serious kats. With superheros in hot demand, the Hulk made a showing along with lil Iron Man, and one of the Baddest Bitches around- Miss Tayshana “HotPants” Pearson. Ladies and Gentlemen beware, this is CooterFest.
